Popular microdrama platform, Story TV, has decided to take things a notch higher by investing in premium vertical storytelling. Yash Raj Films veteran Manan Mehta has been roped in as the Senior Vice President for Story TV. With over 20 years of experience in marketing and entertainment leadership, Manan Mehta is expected to rejig the microdrama ecosystem in India. In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit, Manan got candid about joining Story TV, stating why the opportunity is exciting. He said that the team has the opportunity to shape how premium content is created for the audience. "Microdrama in India has already found its audience, however premium vertical storytelling is still an open canvas. There is no established playbook, and that is what makes this opportunity so exciting. Joining Story TV is about being part of something that is being built from the ground up. We now have the opportunity to shape how premium stories are created and experienced on vertical screens, and I am excited to build that future with Saurabh and the team," Manan Mehta told Filmibeat.
