Idhayam Murali Box Office Collection Day 3: Atharvaa's Tamil coming-of-age romantic drama Idhayam Murali continued its theatrical run with improved collections over its opening weekend. Released in cinemas on July 10, the film recorded another increase in earnings on its third day as Sunday footfalls helped boost its box office performance. With the movie entering Day 4 (Monday, July 13), its weekday collections are now in progress.

According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, Idhayam Murali earned an estimated ₹3.50 crore India net on Day 3 across 1,523 shows. The latest figure marks an 11.1% increase over the film's Day 2 collection of ₹3.15 crore.

With Sunday's earnings, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹8.55 crore after three days in theatres. Based on the available trade estimates, the India gross collection currently stands at ₹9.83 crore.

The film opened with ₹1.90 crore on its first Friday before witnessing a noticeable jump during the weekend. Saturday collections rose to ₹3.15 crore, followed by ₹3.50 crore on Sunday, making it the film's highest single-day collection so far. The weekend trend indicates a gradual increase in audience turnout during the first three days of release.

Occupancy figures also reflected the upward movement. The film registered 30% occupancy across 1,283 shows on its opening day. On Saturday, occupancy improved to 43% with 1,375 shows, while Sunday saw another rise to 46% across 1,523 shows, matching the increase in box office collections.
