Celebrating the flavours of the season, Sony SAB artists Jiten Lalwani, Manish Wadhwa, Muskaan Bamne, and Gulki Joshi share the monsoon delicacies they look forward to the most and the stories attached to them.
From piping hot snacks to traditional homemade beverages, every family has its own monsoon favourites that become a part of cherished memories. Whether it's enjoying a hot cup of tea with crispy snacks, relishing homemade comfort food or revisiting regional favourites, the artists reveal the dishes that make the rainy season feel complete. Jiten Lalwani, who essays the role of Dronacharya, shared, "I absolutely love roasted bhutta during the monsoon. Whether it's from a roadside stall or at the beach, eating freshly roasted corn with lemon and masala while it's drizzling is one of my favourite rainy-day pleasures." Manish Wadhwa, who essays the role of Bhishma Pitamah, shared, "The beauty of the monsoon lies in its simplicity, and so does its food. I enjoy noodles and hot chocolate with my kids. There's a different warmth in sharing these meals with family while listening to the sound of the rain outside. Those are moments I truly cherish." Muskan Bamne, who essays the role of Shanaya, shared, "For me, monsoon is incomplete without hot chai and hot pakoras. I love that combination of spicy and sweet. The moment it starts raining, I automatically start craving them. Sitting by the window with family, enjoying good food and watching the rain, is my favourite way to spend the season." Gulki Joshi, who essays the role of Dr Srishty, shared, "I absolutely love bhajiya's during the monsoon. There's something about eating Kanda Bhaji with tea when it's drizzling, that instantly makes me happy. It's one monsoon tradition I never want to miss."
