The contestants have managed to woo the audience with their power-packed performances, but it's in the nature of the game- eliminations must happen.

A reliable industry source exclusively told Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit, "After entertaining the audience for over nine months, Indian Idol 2025 will culminate its journey with a blockbuster grand finale episode. The makers are planning to showcase a star-studded finale episode for the audience, bringing an end to the glorious journey of the show. Expect the unexpected in the grand finale of Indian Idol season 16." On June 28, Abhishek Kumar got evicted from the show, giving us the top seven contestants. "There has been a huge transformation in me. Living and working closely with fellow contestants, mentors and musicians taught me a lot. I learned not just music but also how to build a career in the industry. I used to listen to very few film songs. After coming here, I got exposure to different genres and styles. That has helped me grow immensely," Abhishek told Filmibeat. Chaitanya Devadhe (Mauli) has been eliminated from Indian Idol 16 on Sunday (July 12). With his eviction, the top six contestants of the show have been confirmed. The Top 6 contestants are Anshika Chonkar, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Manraj Veer Singh, Suhail, Tanishk Shukla and Myscmme Bosu. I personally believe that Jyotirmayee Nayak, Manraj and Tanishk have the maximum chances of winning Indian Idol season 16. These three contestants deserve to be a part of the finale as they have delivered memorable performances while taking things a notch higher.
