Mumbai, 14th July 2026: Sony SAB's Yaadein entertains audiences with its unique blend of humour, heart and light-hearted medical mysteries. Just as Dr. Dev Mehta (Iqbal Khan) struggles to balance his personal emotions with the pressures of his profession, an unexpected reunion forces him to confront unresolved feelings and secrets he thought were long behind him.
Joining the cast is Chhavi Pandey as Dr Preeti Deshmukh, who is a brilliant surgeon and the daughter of Dr Devyani Deshmukh. While she may come across as clumsy, forgetful, and constantly caught up in her own whirlwind of thoughts, everything changes the moment she steps into the operation theatre. Behind her quirky personality lies a sharp and exceptionally skilled doctor who rarely makes a mistake. Having admired Dr Dev for years, Dr Preeti enters his life carrying feelings she has never truly expressed. But with her arrival raising new questions and emotions, it remains to be seen whether she is here simply to follow her heart, to stand by Dr Dev, or if her presence will bring unexpected challenges into his life. Will Dr Preeti's arrival bring new beginnings or unexpected complications for Dr Dev? Talking about playing Dr Preeti Deshmukh, Chhavi Pandey shares, "The moment I heard about Dr Preeti, I knew I wanted to play her. She's quirky, unpredictable, talks non-stop, forgets everything and yet she's one of the most brilliant doctors. That contrast made her such an exciting character to explore as an actor. I'm also really excited to be joining Yaadein and sharing screen space with Iqbal Khan. Dr Preeti and Dr Dev share an interesting equation, and I'm looking forward to audiences discovering how their journey unfolds.
