Coming to the upcoming season, the previous host for the reality show for four consecutive seasons and an OTT exclusive season, veteran Akkineni Nagarjuna is said to have stepped down from the Bigg Boss show as a host. While the reasons for the same are undisclosed, we hear that the actor got bored and uninterested in hosting the show.

Amid speculations, actor-producer Rana Daggubati's name surfaced on the internet along with Nandamuri Balakrishna, as the possible host of the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Telugu 7.

However, there is another update about the reality show's upcoming Telugu season. As the program producers have failed in containing the leaks about eliminated contestants every week, the makers are now deciding to change the venue for the next season.

The Bigg Boss Telugu first season was shot in Pune, far away from Hyderabad. However, due to logistical problems, the makers have been erecting a special set of the Bigg Boss house at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Ever since there have been several leaks. To curb the phenomenon, which is giving rise to a humongous uproar on social media platforms, the set for the season 7 Bigg Boss Telugu house will be constructed in Chennai, according to the available information. However, it is too early to speculate if the news is true.
