Fauzi Release Date Announced: Prabhas' upcoming film Fauzi now has an official theatrical release date. On Thursday, July 16, the makers confirmed that the historical war drama will arrive in cinemas worldwide on December 3, 2026, ending months of speculation over its release plans.
Production banner Mythri Movie Makers shared the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) with a new poster featuring the lead actor. The post carried the message, "अज्ञातपर्व Ends. The Rebellion Begins," before confirming the worldwide release date for the film. The announcement was accompanied by the hashtag #FauziOnDec3. The newly released poster presents Prabhas in a battle-scarred look, seated on a rock while holding a rifle, with the backdrop suggesting the aftermath of an intense conflict. The artwork also carries the tagline "A Battalion Who Fights Alone," hinting at the film's military setting and central narrative. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi is described as a historical fiction drama centred on a soldier. While the makers have not disclosed the complete plot, the promotional material suggests that the story unfolds against the backdrop of armed conflict, with themes of rebellion, sacrifice and resilience forming an important part of the narrative. The film stars Prabhas in the lead role alongside Imanvi, who is making her feature film debut. The supporting cast includes veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher. Fauzi is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with T-Series. The technical crew includes music composer Vishal Chandrasekhar, cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee, lyricist Krishna Kanth (KK) and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The project was first announced in 2023 on the occasion of Prabhas' birthday, when the makers unveiled its first-look poster. Since then, the film has remained one of the actor's upcoming projects, with periodic production updates released over the past few years. Prabhas was last seen in The RajaSaab, which released earlier this year. Apart from Fauzi, the actor has several projects in different stages of production. He is currently working on Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, where he is expected to portray a police officer. The actor is also set to return as Bhairava in Kalki 2898 AD: Part II, the sequel to the 2024 science fiction film directed by Nag Ashwin. In addition, he is expected to reunite with director Prashanth Neel for Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam, which continues the story introduced in the first instalment. With the release date now officially locked, Fauzi is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on December 3, 2026, marking Prabhas' next major theatrical release.Fauzi Movie: Cast And Technical Crew
