Lenin Box Office Collection Day 3: Akhil Akkineni's Telugu rural action drama Lenin continued its theatrical run with steady growth over its opening weekend. The film, which was released in cinemas on July 10, registered an increase in collections on its third day, benefiting from the Sunday holiday. As the movie enters its first Monday, Day 4 (July 13) box office collections are currently in progress.
Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin stars Akhil Akkineni in the lead role alongside Bhagyashri Borse. The film opened in theatres on Friday and witnessed steady growth over its opening weekend. According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, Lenin earned an estimated ₹9.65 crore India net on Day 3 from 2,324 shows, marking an increase of around 11.6% compared to its Day 2 collection of ₹8.65 crore. With this, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹25.45 crore after three days in theatres. Based on the reported figures, the film's India gross collection stands at ₹29.27 crore at the end of its opening weekend. In overseas markets, Lenin added ₹2 crore gross on Sunday, taking its cumulative overseas earnings to ₹7.80 crore. As a result, the film's worldwide gross collection has climbed to ₹37.07 crore after three days. The occupancy trend also reflected a gradual improvement through the weekend. On its opening day, the film recorded 50% occupancy across 2,028 shows while collecting ₹7.15 crore India net. Collections increased on Saturday to ₹8.65 crore with 57% occupancy from 2,099 shows. Sunday's performance was stronger, with occupancy rising to 59% across 2,324 shows, resulting in the film's highest single-day collection so far. Lenin has been written and directed by Murali Kishor Abburu and is produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banners Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments, with Annapurna Studios presenting the film. The technical crew includes Leon Britto as director of photography, Thaman S as music composer, and Navin Nooli as editor. Action sequences have been choreographed by Dhilip Subarian, Ram-Lakshman, Vijay, and Real Sathish, while Avinash Kolla has handled the production design.
