Peddi Now On OTT: After its theatrical release last month, Peddi has now made its way to the digital platform, allowing viewers to watch the Telugu sports action drama from home. Headlined by Ram Charan, the film combines sports, action and social issues in a story that unfolds across two different timelines while focusing on the struggles of a remote tribal community.
Released in cinemas on June 4, 2026, Peddi is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Alongside Ram Charan in the title role, the cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani. The film's music and background score have been composed by A. R. Rahman. Set across the years 1994 and 2016, the film follows a sports ministry official who travels to a remote tribal village in Andhra Pradesh after hearing about the legendary Peddi, whose story inspired generations of athletes. As the narrative shifts to the past, it traces Peddi's life in an isolated, unrecognized village facing discrimination and neglect. Gifted in sports, he becomes determined to fight for his community's identity and basic rights after a personal tragedy changes the course of his life. As Peddi overcomes social and physical challenges, his journey reflects the struggles of his village and the role of sport in drawing attention to its long-standing demands. The film's technical team includes cinematographer Ratnavelu ISC, editor Navin Nooli, and production designer Avinash Kolla. Bosco Martis handled the choreography, while the visual effects supervision was led by Sanath PC. The soundtrack and original score were composed by A. R. Rahman. Peddi has now begun streaming on Netflix. The OTT platform began making the film available from July 9, 2026, giving audiences the opportunity to watch it at home. Peddi is currently streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The Hindi version has not been released on the platform yet and is listed as "Coming Soon".
