"Every film industry has its own storytelling style, culture and way of connecting with audiences. Working in Telugu and Kannada cinema has been an enriching experience because every project teaches me something new. As an actor, that's exactly what I seek," the Bigg Boss star told Filmibeat. The talented actress believes that stepping into South Indian cinema at this stage of her career has broadened her horizons and helped her evolve as a performer. She sees every new project as an opportunity to learn, collaborate with talented filmmakers, and connect with audiences across different languages and cultures. One of her recent milestones has been her Telugu and Kannada film Police Complain, which generated significant excitement ahead of its theatrical release. The project marked another important step in her regional cinema journey and allowed her to collaborate with a talented team while reaching a wider audience. Earlier this year, Kriti also made her Kannada film debut with Karikaada, where she featured in the energetic song "Rathuni Rathuni." The vibrant track received an encouraging response from audiences, introducing her to Kannada viewers and reinforcing her desire to explore more opportunities in the industry. "What I admire most about South Indian cinema is the passion with which stories are told. Whether it's a commercial entertainer or an emotional drama, the commitment towards filmmaking is remarkable. Being a part of this journey has made me a more confident and adaptable performer," she shared Kriti added that language has never been a barrier for her. Instead, she sees it as an opportunity to grow. "Cinema is an emotion. Once you understand your character and the emotion behind every scene, language becomes a beautiful bridge instead of an obstacle." With back-to-back regional releases and an expanding body of work, Kriti is optimistic about the future. She hopes to collaborate with more acclaimed filmmakers across Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam cinema while continuing to take on characters that challenge her as an artist.
