Jawan First Weekend Collection: SRK’s Film To Make Over Rs 200 Cr; To Beat Pathaan’s Total Earning Next Week?

Jawan Opening Weekend Collection: Shah Rukh Khan has truly been the king of Bollywood and he has proved it once again this year. After the phenomenal success of Pathaan early this year, he has come up with another massive blockbuster now. We are talking about Atlee directorial Jawan which also stars Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, etc.
Jawan has been one of the biggest releases of the year and it opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. Everyone has been in awe of Shah Rukh's phenomenal performance and it is evident with the movie's box office performance. After witnessing a thunderous start with a collection of Rs 65 crore (Hindi) on day 1, Jawan is maintaining a strong grip at the ticket windows.
In fact, the day 3 collection reports as per Sacnilk states that Jawan is likely to rake in Rs 70 crore today taking the overall collection to Rs 197.50 crore. Needless to say, the speculations are rife about the first weekend collection of Jawan. According to a report published in Bollywood Life, Jawan is likely to rake in over Rs 200 crore during the opening weekend (Saturdary and Sunday).
Jawan First Weekend Box Office Collection
According to trade analyst and exhibitor Akshaye Rathi, "We can expect Rs 60 crores from the Hindi belt on Saturday. Sunday could be around Rs 70 crores pan-India. If you add this with Rs 30 crores from overseas market, Jawan is well over Rs 200 crores. Also, the competition is not very high. There is only Warner Bros' Nun, which is a horror film". The media reports also suggest that Jawan is likely to witness a massive jump in collections during the weekend and is likely to cross the lifetime collections of Pathaan (Rs 525 crore) in the coming days. As of now, it is giving a good competition to Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 which has emerged as the third highest grossing Hindi film after Baahubali 2 and Pathaan.
Meanwhile, as the word of mouth about Jawan is doing the rounds, it will be interesting to see if there is a jump in the collection in the coming days. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is overwhelmed with the phenomenal response to Jawan. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), SRK tweeted, "Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan".
