Entertainment Highlights: Rajinikanth Travels To Kedarnath; Janhvi Kapoor On Being Paranoid Of Losing Parent

Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel ended up calling it quits months after Bigg Boss 17. Recently, one of their co-contestant Rinku Dhawan was asked about the duo's split and stated that she saw it coming. She also called Isha over-ambitious. Needless to say, her comments didn't go down well with Isha who has now slammed Rinku. During her recent interaction with Galatta India, Isha stated, "Wo unki khud ki marriage life mein successful nahi rahi hain. Mujhe yeh bolna nahi chahiye lekin agar wo itni gandi gandi baatein bol rahi hain. She has been divorced, unka khud ka divorce ho chuka hai aur aap 20 saal ke bachchon ko dekhne mein lage ho. Humara kya hai, humara toh theek hai, breakup ho jayega, relationship ho jaayenge. But look at yourself, your marriage has not worked out well".

A case was registered against Malayalam director Omar Lulu for allegedly raping an young actress multiple times between January and April this year, according to reports. In the complaint, the actress alleged that Omar Lulu had also promised to marry her and also assured to cast her in his movies. Meanwhile, the Kerala High Court has granted an interim anticipatory bail to Omar Lulu in the rape case. The court further stated that if the director gets arrested, he should be released on a surety bond of Rs 50,000!

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are currently much in talk these days. After their 3-day pre-wedding gala in Jamnagar, Gujarat, earlier in March this year, the soon-to-be-married couple is hosting yet another lavish pre-wedding celebrations on a luxury cruise from May 29 to June 1. Ahead of their much-anticipated wedding gala, the soon-to-be married couple's wedding invitation card is going viral on the internet. According to the invitation card, Anant-Radhika's wedding will be a 3-day affair from 12th July to 14th July, which will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai.

Jitendra Kumar, who is well known for his role as Sachiv Ji in Panchayat, opened up on the rumours on if he really had a fallout with the makers of TVF. He said, “There was a lot of panic and I could see that all over social media. The last season ended on Abhishek's transfer and that also spurred the buzz further. There was a misunderstanding, and honestly, main bhi pareshan ho jata tha (I would get troubled) answering the same questions. At one point, I was like aur mat poochon, bandh karo yeh (don't ask about it, end it now)." Continuing, "Given I have had a long association with TVF, people were worried about what went wrong. I understood it's their love and we just waited for the first trailer to end all speculations."

Sunny Deol, who is basking in the success of Gadar 2, is accused of forgery, cheating, and lies by film producers. They have blamed the actor taking money from them but ending up not doing the films after his recent movie, Gadar 2, became a huge hit. Film producer Sorav Gupta of Sundawn Entertainment Pvt Ltd said, "We gave him ₹1cr in advance but instead of starting my film, he opted to shoot for Poster Boys (2017) instead. He kept asking me for more money and by now my ₹2.55cr is in Sunny ji’s account. He also made me give money to another director, book Filmistaan studio and get an executive producer." Filmmaker Suneel Darshan too have accused the actor, “Sunny Deol acquired rights from my movie Ajay (1996) for overseas distribution and only made a partial payment. The balance payment never came through,” says Darshan, adding, “Later, Sunny requested me to work on a project with him, saying, ‘Have faith in me, help me out’, and got me to pay him again." Another industry insider said, “He is a known troublemaker for years. Sunny had given a bound script of a film called Ram Janmbhumi to a producer who created a huge set in Mumbai. Sunny signed the film for ₹5cr. But later, he refused to come to the sets and demanded a fees of ₹25cr because he had delivered a blockbuster (Gadar 2, 2023).”

Janhvi Kapoor, who lost her mother, Sridevi in 2018, opened up on being paranoid of losing her parents when she was a child. She said, “It's so funny that I always had a paranoia of losing my parents, even at that time (childhood). Every time they'd go late at night for an event or travel for more than a day without me… Small things like they're shopping at duty-free (stores at the airport) and I'm left with the nanny, I was always like, ‘I don’t know if they're going to make the flight, I don't know if they're going to come back home. Sometimes, I'd go into their room and check if they're there. It's so weird. There was this weird paranoia,”“It's so funny that I always had a paranoia of losing my parents, even at that time (childhood). Rajinikanth is all set to embark his tour to the Himalayas for a spiritual retreat. In a viral video of his, the superstar could be seen reaching Dehradun to start his journey which, according to him, will help him grow, "Every year I used to get new experience that made me continue my spiritual journey again and again. I believe even this time, (I) will get new experiences," said Rajinikanth.
