Kanwar Yatra Row: Sonu Sood, who is known to be the messiah for many during difficult period, recently came under the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Recently, the actor has been making headlines for trying to justify a food vendor spitting on food. After which, Bollywood actor and recently turned MP, Kangana Ranaut, bashed the actor for his views. Slamming the actor, she also suggested the actor to direct his own Ramayana.

On Saturday, the Bollywood actress took to Twitter and slammed the actor while writing, "Next you know Sonu ji will direct his own Ramayana based on his own personal findings about God and religion. Wah kya baat hai Bollywood se ek aur Ramayana."

Kangana's tweet came after Sonu Sood justified a viral video where a food vendor could be seen spitting on customer's food after Muzaffarnagar UP police instructed food shop owners to display their names and their staff's so that the devotees for Kanwar yatra don't get confused and Sonu reacted to this saying, "There should be only one nameplate on every shop: 'HUMANITY'."

Later, when the video went viral, a user questioned Sonu and suggested him to have those rotis instead, "The roti smeared with spit should be parcelled to Sonu Sood so that brotherhood remains intact." Sonu justifying the act, compared this to Ramayana and wrote, "Our Shri Ram Ji ate the sour berries of Shabri, so why can't I eat them? Violence can be defeated by non-violence, my brother. Humanity must just remain intact. Jai Shri Ram."

After the tweet went viral and many slammed the actor, one wrote, "Itna bhi defend maat karo, galat ko bhi sahi proof karne mein lage ho..." Another wrote, "Mata shabri se compare kar rahe ho inhe. Aur apne ko bhagwan ram se Kuch bhi Matlab kuch bhi." One user wrote, "Wo aap ke choice hai naaa, aap daily ghar pe thuke huye cheez khate hongeee... Sab thodi khayengee aap ke liye...."
