Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Monday brings all Bollywood celebs under one roof as they all celebrated the festival of democracy by casting their votes. From Aishwarya Rai to Shah Rukh Khan, B'wood celebs reached the polling booths during the ongoing fifth phase of Lok Sabha Elections in Mumbai. However, amid all these, Chak De India actress Vidya Malvade couldn't cast her vote and shared her experience on Instagram.

Vidya Malvade shared a post on her Instagram account where she could be seen visibly upset as she went to cast her vote with her aging parents under the Bandra constituency. In the video, she stated that her name was not there, her address wasn't there, however, her parents' details were present there. She further revealed that she filled many forms to get the voter ID, however, at the last moment, she didn't get hers, and went there with Aadhar ID. But she was denied to exercise the right to vote. Turned out, it's not just Vidya Malvade, but Amit Trivedi also couldn't cast his vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. He shared a video on Instagram where he could be heard saying that he was not allowed to cast vote despite having the slip with number on it. Sharing the video, he wrote, Voting is our constitutional right. Today I was denied that right and I feel helpless. Did this happen to anyone else? How.. and why??"
