Ramayana: Yash To Wear Real Gold Outfits To Play The Role Of Raavan In the Ranbir Kapoor Starrer?

Ramayana: Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana has been making headlines ever since it was announced. With so many speculations, who will play which character, it has been confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram while Sai Pallavi is roped in to play Sita. On the other hand, KGF star Yash has been confirmed to play Raavan in the magnum opus. The movie is naturally expected to be a blockbuster considering the stellar cast. Amid all these, there have been several reports claiming the magnitude of the project to make everything bring to life.
Yash To Wear Real Gold As Raavan In Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana?
According to the reports, Yash is indeed wearing real gold to bring his character Raavan to life. Apart from this, he is going to put on 15 kgs of weight to make the character more real as the King of Lanka. And according to the reports he is currently preparing for the character. A source told IANS, "The clothes that are being made for Yash are in real gold. Actual gold is being used because Ravana was the king of Sri Lanka and it was a golden province at that time." Not only just that, but a massive set is also constructed resembling 'Sone Ki Lanka'.

Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the massive project is being mounted on a massive INR 835 crores budget. According to Pinkvilla reports, the film, which was expected to be a trilogy, will be a 2 part saga, and it will be shot under 350 days schedule. The first part is expected to be released within a year by the end of 2025 or 2026.
