Sanjay Leela Bhansali On Heeramandi 2: Heeramandi is the latest buzz in the town and there is no doubt about it. Despite mixed reviews, audiences are willing to witness the granduer, drama, and aesthetic details yet again and can't wait for the second season. However, the big question is if it is at all coming to grace the screen! Well, now the director himself ended all the speculations and answered whether the show is seeing a renewal or not.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali Answered If Heeramandi 2 Is Coming

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, SLB thanked for the responses and shared his willingness to make the season 2, he said, "First of all, thank you for loving season one. But season two happens or not happens, happens with Netflix announcing it if they want to go ahead with it."

He further added, "They (Netflix) are the producers and they're the best producers ever I have worked with in 30 years. I keep telling them as I've done some good karma that I have had the chance to work with people like y'all. But the decision to do season two comes from them, not from me."

Earlier, Adhyayan Suman, who played the role of Nawab Zoravar in the period drama, confirmed the season 2 of Heeramandi unofficially, he said, "Heeramandi 2 is something that sir has spoken about, and he has unofficially said I want to work with these actors again; season 2 will get made."

The director is busy with his upcoming project Love & War where he will cast Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. It will hit the theatres in Christmas, 2025.
