Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na still rock solid overseas

The unthinkable has happened! Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has proved all calculations wrong in the international markets. A film starring newcomers rarely gets a theatrical release internationally and if it does, the survival rate is minimal. But Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has proved an exception. The second weekend is rocking, in fact at par with the first weekend, which indicates that the film has slowly and steadily caught on in a big way. The combined total from these three markets alone is approx. Rs. 3 crores, which is superb considering the face-value and the price it was sold at. UTV, which distributed Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na globally, has its third Hit in a row internationally, after Jodhaa Akbar and Race.
