Too many films spoil the prospects at BO

Six new movies on one day (Daddy Cool, Kisaan, Love Khichdi, Quick Gun Murugan, Toss and Yeh Mera India) resulted in the business getting divided and how. None of them could muster a face-saving opening.

In fact, in some cases, you could actually count the people in the auditorium. The opening numbers ranged from 5% to 10% to 15%; in the case of two films, the management of theatres were forced to cancel shows due to lack of audiences.
