Dashavatar, fail to impress

The producers / distributors versus multiplexes face off entered third week on Friday. The business is down in the dumps and with no major release in sight, at least for a few more weeks, the audiences will be starved of big screen entertainment. Meanwhile, there's talk in the industry that a solution should be in sight in the first week of May. Of course, right now, the two warring factions haven't reached a consensus yet.

Meanwhile, the Friday releases – Dashavatar and - opened to poor houses. Dashavatar has opened without much fanfare and isn't expected to show a jump in business thanks to the poor reports.
