Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? outshines Road, Movie at BO

The Friday witnessed the release of multiple films – Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?, Road, Movie, Rokkk and Thanks Maa - and it was Atithi which garnered the best opening of the lot. The film opened to a 40% to 50% response, as per initial indications.

Films targeted at family audiences generally start slow, but pick up if the word of mouth is good. In this case, the reports are extremely positive and the film should show an increase on Friday evening/night, Saturday and Sunday.

Road, Movie had a dull start of 15% to 20% at select multiplexes, while the horror film Rokkk was slightly better at single screens, but multiplexes were poor.
