BO report: Housefull makes wonderful opening

The much-awaited Housefull seems to have ended the drought at the box-office. The film embarked on one of the biggest openings ever, with the morning and noon shows opening to a fantastic response. The film has had one of the biggest releases ever, in terms of number of screens as also shows at leading plexes. Generally, a keenly awaited film is screened in 15-17-20 shows every day, but in this case, as many as 22-25-27 shows are being conducted at several plexes.

Saturday, 1st May is a holiday, so the film should set new records on Saturday and Sunday as well. Now let's see if the opening weekend numbers find a place in Top 5 openers ever.
