The
new
releases
-
Nakshatra,
Daayen
Ya
Baayen
and
Maalik
Ek
-
opened
to
dismal
houses
on
Friday.
The
response
was
as
low
as
3%
and
5%
and
is
not
likely
to
improve
over
the
weekend.
Daayen
Ya
Baayen
and
Maalik
Ek
had
a
limited
release,
while
Nakshatra
had
a
slightly
extensive
release
as
compared
to
the
two
films.
The
pre-Diwali
phase
is
considered
the
weakest
period
for
film
business
and
even
holdover
titles
like
Jhootha
Hi
Sahi
and
Rakta
Charitra
remained
thanda
on
the
first
day
of
their
second
week.
