7 Khoon Maaf fails to earn big at Box Office

Vishal Bharadwaj's film 7 Khoon Maaf started with lukewarm response at the Box Office with below the mark collection of Rs. 11.53 cr nett. The breakup of the collection, on Friday 3.30 cr, Saturday 3.51, Sunday 4.72 cr. The film started slow on Friday, showed no major jump on Saturday, but was better on Sunday.

However, given the number of screens in circulation, besides no major opposition to contend with, the film should've grossed at least Rs. 15 cr + in its first three days. Well, the reason counted as to why did the film didn't turn out to be a big money spinner will be because of the script that fails to hold.

However, the plus point of the film, Priyanka Chopra's performance and a few interesting episodes kept pulling in some audience to the theatre. The film stars Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan, Aleksandr Dyachenko, Annu Kapoor, Vivaan Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Usha Uthup.

The film is based on Ruskin Bond's short story Susanna's 7 Husband.
