Bodyguard rakes in Rs 5 crs in International Box Office

Director Siddique's debut Bollywood movie Bodyguard, which has set a new record at the domestic Box Office, has got a grand welcome overseas. Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer has created history in the international collection centres too. The film has earned more than 5 crores in five countries in the first three days. Internationally, it is expected to be Salman's biggest solo hit.

Salman Khan's latest romantic film Bodyguard was released in the UK on Tuesday and has grossed a total of Rs 29,360,772 (£ 395,416). This is the highest earning of the movie in a foreign country. The second highest collection comes from the UAE, where the flick was released on Tuesday. It has raked in Rs 16,202,662 ($ 1.3 million) in first three days.

Bodyguard was released on Wednesday in other countries like Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. The movie has scored Rs 3,201,512 ($ 65,612) in Australia, Rs 900,221 ($ 23,223) in New Zealand and Rs 310,587 ($ 12,029) in Fiji. The total collection of the movie in five countries is Rs 49,975,754.
The flick was also released in USA, but figures of collection in this country are yet to be revealed.

However, the movie Bodyguard has created wonders at the Indian Box Office. The film was released on Wednesday in 26000 threatres across the country and it has grossed Rs 22 crores on its opening day. It has set new record at the collection centres by surpassing 3 Idiots and Dabangg.
