John's Force scores Rs 24.52 crs at Box Office in first week

Bollywood movie Force, which features John Abraham and Genelia D'Souza in the leads, has done a fare business at the Box Office. Despite having limited number of screens and shows, Vipul Amrutlal Shah produced film has collected approximately Rs 24.52 crores net in the first week of its release. This is John's biggest opener in solo lead.

Force was lauded by the film critics for John-Genelia's wonderful onscreen chemistry, its terrific action and captivating drama. The movie also received well by the viewers and on the first day, it grossed Rs 5.05 crores, which is the biggest opening day collection for John Abraham. It fared well at the Box Office on the following days also.

Friday - 5.05 crores,
Saturday - 4.75 crores,
Sunday - 6.20 crores,
Mon - 2.42 crores,
Tuesday - 2.15 crores,
Wednesday - 2.10 crores,
Thursday - 1.85 crores

Another movie Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster won tremendous acclaim from the film critics, but it failed to translate it into excellent figures. Although it did good business at the Box Office when compared with other releases, its numbers are not upto the mark. Other movies like Hum Tum Shabana, Tere Mere Phere, Chargesheet and previous week release Mausam fell flat at the collection centres.
