Five
Bollywood
movies
released
last
week
-
Mujhse
Fraaandship
Karoge,
Aazaan,
Mod,
My
Friend
Pinto
and
Jo
Dooba
So
Paar...
It's
Love
In
Bihar.
However,
none
of
the
movies
managed
to
create
any
hype
at
the
box
office.
Trade
analysts
now
have
all
their
eyes
and
hopes
pinned
on
Shahrukh
Khan's
Ra.One,
touted
as
the
biggest
film
to
come
out
of
Bollywood.
Out
of
last
week's
four
releases,
Mujhse
Fraaandship
Karoge
did
fairly
well
at
the
box
office
by
managing
to
collect
approximately
Rs
3.5
crore.
The
most
interesting
thing
to
note
here
is
that
the
film,
directed
by
first
time
director
Nupur
Asthana
does
not
boast
of
any
celebrity
stars.
The
star
cast
is
completely
new
and
fresh.
My
Friend
Pinto,
which
has
Prateik
Babbar
playing
the
lead
role
released
across
350
screens
and
collected
nearly
Rs
1.5
crore.
Aazaan,
with
a
massive
publicity
campaign
managed
to
collect
only
Rs
1.5
crore
despite
being
released
on
700
screens.
Jo
Dooba
So
Paar...
It's
Love
In
Bihar
and
Mod
managed
to
collect
not
more
than
approximately
Rs
30
-
40
lakhs.
Will
Shahrukh
Khan's
Ra.One,
which
is
slated
to
release
on
Wednesday,
October
26
give
Bollywood
the
much
required
blockbuster?
