Not A Love Story earns 2 cr in 1st weekend

Ram Gopal Varma"s Not A Love Story and the Sanjay Dutt starrer Chatur Singh Two Star collected a net amount of only Rs 2 to 2.5 crore (all India) at the box-office over the weekend. Though Not A Love Story was made in four to five times less budget than Chatur Singh, the result was the same for the two. Last week"s third release, Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande saw even worse opening. The film's screening even got cancelled at many places as there weren"t enough people in the theatres.

RGV's Not A Love Story starring Deepak Dobriyal, Mahie Gill, touted to be one of the best works of the filmmaker so far, started with a weak note. The film's business did increase marginally at few places, but the shoot up was missing. Overall the film performed poor.

Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Manoj Bajpayee and Prateik Babbar starrer Prakash Jha film Aarakshan remained on the lower side in its second weekend. The film saw slightly better business at the plexes, but continued to play dull at single screens.
