Aamir's Talaash 2nd weekend collection at Box Office

Last week's Hindi release Talaash starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in leads, has failed to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in the second weekend too. The collection of this psychological suspense thriller has been affected by Akshay Kumar's new release Khiladi 786, which has hit the screens on December 7.

Talaash witnessed an average of 70% dip in its business. The movie registered very low figures on Friday, but its business went up on Saturday and Sunday following the mixed response for Khiladi 786. It has received very good response at the multiplexes, while Khiladi 786 entertained large number of audience in the single screens across the country. The major share of its collection is coming from multiplexes in the second weekend.

However, Talaash, which had collected Rs 67.9 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first week, was expected to surpass Rs 100 crore mark in the second weekend, but it has failed to do so. It has added Rs 11.20 crores nett to its 10-day total Rs 79.10 crores nett. Trade experts say that it will not be able to cross the mark in the second week. It may achieve this figure in the third weekend.
