Bollywood
witnessed
the
release
of
six
movies
like
Aiyyaa,
Bhoot
Returns,
Makkhi,
Chittagong,
Login
and
In
The
Name
Of
Tai,
but
all
of
them
have
opened
to
a
poor
response
at
the
Box
Office
in
India.
Rani
Mukherjee's
Aiyyaa
got
good
occupancy
in
theatres
when
compared
to
five
other
releases.
Aiyyaa,
Bhoot
Returns
and
Makkhi
are
much-hyped
movies,
and
Aiyyaa
is
the
front-runner
in
the
race.
The
Rani
Mukherjee
and
Prithviraj
starrer
has
registered
25%
occupancy,
which
is
very
disappointing
for
the
makers.
It
is
comeback
film
of
Rani
Mukherjee
which
is
made
with
a
big
budget.
It
is
expected
to
show
a
big
jump
in
the
evening
shows.
Bhoot
Returns
is
Ram
Gopal
Varma's
latest
horror
movie
and
its
promos
have
created
a
lot
of
curiosity
among
viewers.
But
the
movie
has
an
average
of
10%
occupancy
across
the
country.
Makkhi
is
the
dubbed
version
of
SS
Rajamouli's
Telugu
movie
Eega,
which
has
received
an
earth-shattering
response
in
Andhra
Pradesh.
It
was
expected
to
continue
the
same
in
the
Hindi
too.
But
this
movie
has
also
registered
just
10%
occupancy
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes.
Whereas,
other
new
releases
like
Chittagong,
Login
and
In
The
Name
of
Tai
are
medium
budget
movies
and
they
have
had
a
massive
hype
of
promotions
prior
their
release.
Now,
trade
analyst
feel
that
there
is
a
chance
for
Aiyyaa,
Bhoot
Returns
and
Makkhi
to
pick
up
well
in
the
collection
centres,
but
the
other
three
may
washout
completely.
