Akshay
Kumar's
latest
movie
Joker,
which
received
a
poor
response
in
India,
has
also
had
a
bad
opening
at
the
overseas
Box
Office.
Trade
analysts
say
that
Shirish
Kunder
directed
film
has
performed
worse
than
Akki's
previous
flick
Rowdy
Rathore
at
the
international
market
on
the
first
day
of
its
release.
Trade
expert
Taran
Adarsh
was
shocked
to
see
the
first
day
collection
figures
of
this
much-hyped
film.
He
tweeted,
"#Joker
Friday
numbers
are
poor
in
India
and
international
markets.
Amongst
@akshaykumar's
lowest
openers.
" He
added,
"#RowdyRathore
was
an
underperformer
in
Overseas.
#Joker
is
much
much
lower
than
even
#RowdyRathore.
Just
imagine!"
Joker
has
collected
Rs
985,890
(A$
17,201)
from
its
screening
in
Australia
in
two
days
(Thu
A$
4,317,
Fri
A$
12,884).
The
movie
has
raked
in
Rs
346,915
(NZ$
7,783)
from
its
screening
in
New
Zealand
in
two
days
(Thu
NZ$
1,480,
Fri
NZ$
6,303).
The
film
has
grossed
Rs
2,683,197
£
30,460
at
the
UK
Box
Office.
It
has
also
done
extremely
poor
business
at
the
USA
and
UAE
collection
centres.
However,
Rowdy
Rathore
starring
Akshay
Kumar
and
Sonakshi
Sinha
in
leads,
was
a
very
low
opener
at
the
foreign
collection
centres.
It
had
raked
in
Rs
2+
crores
at
the
international
Box
Office
on
the
first
day.
Now,
Joker
has
received
worst
response
and
its
first
day
collection
is
less
than
Rs
1.5
crore.
The
movie
has
tanked
in
both
India
and
international
market.
