Akshay's Khiladi 786 first day collection at Box Office

The much-awaited Hindi movie Khiladi 786, which has been directed by Ashish R Mohan, might have opened to a mixed reviews from film critics, but they did not deffer the Akshay Kumar and Asin starrer from getting fantastic response from the viewers. The film has collected Rs 10 crores nett at the Indian Box Office on the first day. It failed to break the opening day record of his last release Rowdy Rathore.

Khiladi 786, which was released in 2,785 screens on December 7, opened to a fantastic response at the single screens across the country on Friday. The masala entertainer embarked on a average of 90% occupancy. Whereas the movie began with a poor amount of footfalls at the multiplexes, but its business grew rapidly in the evening and night shows on the opening day.

Akshay Kumar's last release Rowdy Rathore had Rs 15.10 crores nett at the domestic Box Office on the first day and it has been biggest opener of Akki so far. As per early trends, Khiladi 786 has raked in approximately Rs 10 crores nett at the Indian collection centres. With this, it has failed to break the record of Rowdy Rathore.

However, Khiladi 786 has got thumbs up from viewers across the country, and now a positive word of mouth is expected to take its collection over the weekend. Trade experts say that it is likely to cross Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic Box Office.
