Akshay's Khiladi 786 opens to fantastic response at Box Office

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who has already scored three big hits like Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore and OMG! Oh My God in 2012, is back with a bang again! His latest outing Khiladi 786, which has been directed by Ashish R Mohan, has opened to a fantastic response at the Indian Box Office on the first day. It has slowed down the phase of Aamir Khan's last week release Talaash.

Khiladi 786, which has released in 2,786 screens in India today (December 7), has recorded very good amount of footfalls in both single screens and multiplexes in the morning and matinee shows across the country. The Akshay and Asin starrer has registered 75% to 90% occupancy in single screens and 70% to 85% occupancy in multiplexes. As per early trends, it is expected to rake in Rs 16 to 17 crores nett at the domestic Box Office on the first day of its release.

However, Khiladi 786, which marks Akshay Kumar's comeback to action as well as Khiladi series, is one of the most-hyped movie of the year 2012. The makers of the film have done massive promotions for it, prior its release. Especially, Akki has left no stone unturned to make it another big hit after his last releases like Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore and OMG! Oh My God.
