Ajay
Devgn
and
Abhishek
Bachchan
starrer
movie
Bol
Bachchan
has
had
a
wonderful
weekend
at
the
Box
Office
in
India.
Although
the
film
faced
tough
competition
from
Telugu
movie
Eega
and
Punjabi
film
Jatt
and
Juliet,
it
has
done
good
business
at
the
collection
centres
across
the
country.
And
it
has
scored
approximately
Rs
43
crores
nett
in
the
first
weekend.
Bol
Bachchan
opened
to
a
good
response
at
the
collection
centres
with
its
occupancy
ranging
between
60%
and
70%
in
the
first
show
on
Friday.
Its
business
went
up
in
the
later
shows.
The
movie
collected
Rs
12.10
crores
nett
on
the
first
day
of
its
release.
Its
first
day
collection
was
far
better
than
that
of
many
recent
Bollywood
releases.
Since
Bol
Bachchan
had
received
positive
reviews
from
both
critics
and
viewers,
trade
analysts
opined
that
the
word
of
the
mouth
would
play
the
magic
at
the
Box
Office,
thereby
boosting
its
collection
on
Saturday.
As
expected,
its
business
went
up
by
18%
with
the
movie
adding
Rs
14
crores
to
its
two
days
total
Rs
26.10
crore
nett.
But
Bol
Bachchan
surely
had
a
good
time
at
the
Box
Office
on
Sunday.
The
movie
witnessed
a
big
growth
in
its
business,
which
was
grown
by
35%
to
50%.
Trade
analyst
Taran
Adarsh
tweeted,
"#BolBachchan
has
witnessed
BIG
jump
on
Sunday.
Instance:
In
a
circuit
like
CI,
it
collected
-
Fri
52.50
lacs,
Sat
50
lacs,
Sun
77.75
lacs
(sic)."
Before
this
on
Sunday,
Taran
Adarsh
predicted
that
the
movie
would
collected
Rs
40
crores
in
the
first
weekend.
"#BolBachchan
Fri
12.10
cr,
Sat
12
cr.
Though
early
to
comment,
the
Sun
figure
could
touch
15
cr
to
17
cr.
A
40
cr
weekend
on
the
cards." The
movie
has
added
Rs
17
crores
nett
to
its
first
weekend
total
Rs
43.10
crores
nett
at
the
Box
Office
in
India.
