This
Friday
witnessed
the
release
of
three
big
movies
like
Chakravyuh,
Ajab
Gazabb
Love
(AGL)
and
Rush,
but
all
of
them
have
had
an
uneven
response
at
the
Box
Office
on
the
opening
day.
The
last
week's
release
Student
of
the
Year
has
remained
as
the
first
choice
for
many
viewers
this
weekend
too.
Prakash
Jha's
much-hyped
movie
Chakravyuh,
which
hit
the
screens
on
Wednesday,
embarked
on
a
slow
start
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
and
collected
approximately
Rs
3.25
crores
on
the
first
day
of
its
release
(Dussehra).
Although
it
has
a
positive
word
of
mouth,
the
movie
had
a
dull
response
on
Thursday
and
Friday.
Ajab
Gazabb
Love,
which
released
in
theatres
today
(October
26),
has
received
extremely
mixed
response
in
both
multiplexes
and
single
screens
in
morning
and
matinee
shows
on
its
opening
day.
This
movie
has
better
occupancy
when
compared
to
the
other
two
films
like
Chakravyuh
and
Rush.
Whereas,
another
new
release
Rush,
which
hit
the
screens
today,
has
a
lukewarm
start
at
the
desi
Box
Office.
The
movie
starring
Emraan
Hashmi
and
Neha
Dhupia
in
leads,
has
also
got
mixed
response
in
both
multiplexes
and
single
screens
in
morning
and
matinee
shows
on
its
opening
day.
It
is
expected
to
pick
up
in
the
following
days.
However,
two
weeks
ago,
Bollywood
suffered
severe
set
back
when
six
Hindi
movies
hit
screens
on
the
same
day.
This
bulk
release
resulted
in
the
viewers
rejecting
the
new
release
outright
and
giving
another
chance
to
old
releases
to
rock
again.
The
same
situation
is
expected
to
repeat
this
weekend
too
as
last
week
release
Student
of
the
Year
is
leading
the
race
at
the
Box
Office.
