Saif-Deepika's Cocktail embarks on a terrific start at Box Office

Director Homi Adajania's latest Hindi movie Cocktail, which is one of the most-awaited movies of 2012, has embarked on a terrific start at the Box Office in India. As per early trends, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer movie is expected to collect Rs 15 to 18 crores at the collection centres.

Cocktail has received a very good response at multiplexes in metros. The movie has registered 90% to 100% occupancy at morning and noon shows in multiplexes across the country. It has also got good start at singles screens, but its business is not up to the level of multiplexes.

Cocktail is a romantic thriller and it has got positive reviews from film critics across the country. The makers of the film have had extensive promotion for it. The promos and songs of the film had created lot of curiosity among the audience especially the youth. Now, the film is expected to set new record at the Box Office.

However, Hindi movie Bol Bachchan and Telugu film Eega, which have done fare business last week, are running with a good collection across the country. In South India, Tamil film Billa 2, which is one of the most-anticipated movies, has hit the screens today. Many were thinking that Cocktail might face tough competition for these films. But it has proved their opinions wrong.
