Hindi
movie
Dabangg
2,
which
has
been
directed
by
debutant
Arbaaz
Khan,
has
continued
to
rock
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend.
The
Salman
Khan
and
Sonakshi
Sinha
starrer
has
collected
Rs
20.5
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
collection
centres,
taking
its
10
day
total
to
Rs
127.78
crores.
With
this,
the
romantic
action
film
has
once
again
topped
the
business
chart
in
the
country.
Since
there
were
no
big
releases
this
weekend,
Dabangg
2
was
expected
to
do
very
well
again
in
the
second
weekend
too.
But
the
movie,
which
had
collected
Rs
65
crores
in
the
first
weekend,
has
witnessed
almost
65%
dip
in
its
business
over
this
weekend.
Trade
experts
say
that
its
collection
is
not
upto
the
expectations.
Despite
facing
tough
time
from
Shirin
Farhad
Ki
Toh
Nikal
Padi,
Salman
Khan's
previous
release
Ek
Tha
Tiger
(ETT)
had
collected
Rs
21
crores
in
the
second
weekend.
Whereas
Dabangg
2,
which
was
released
in
more
screens
than
ETT,
was
expected
to
collect
nearly
30
crores
in
the
second
weekend,
but
is
has
just
raked
in
Rs
21
crores.
Its
break
up
is
Rs
5
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
7
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
9
cr
on
Sun.
However,
Dabangg
2
has
collected
Rs
127.78
crores
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
and
approximately
Rs
38.49
crores
overseas
in
the
second
weekend.
The
Salman
and
Sonakshi
movie
has
raked
in
Rs
166.27
crores
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office.
It
should
be
seen
whether
it
will
be
able
to
cross
Rs
200
crore
mark.
