Emraan-Bipasha's Raaz 3 crosses 50 crore mark at Indian Box Office

Vikram Bhatt's latest directorial venture Raaz 3 starring Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu in leads, is doing good business at the Box Office on weekdays too. The much-hyped horror movie has surpassed Rs 50 crore mark at the India collection centres in just six days and proved that it is the biggest opener for Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatts' production house Vishesh Films.

Raaz 3, which hit screens on September 7, received a fantastic start at the domestic Box Office on Friday. The movie set a new record by raking in Rs 10.47 crores nett on the first day of its release. Its business improved further with its collection reaching Rs 11.18 crores on Saturday and Rs 13.79 crores on Sunday. The film concluded the first weekend with a record breaking collection of Rs 36.02 crores.

On Monday, the collection of Raaz 3 dropped by nearly 50% when compared to its first day collection. But it was at par with the business of many biggies of the year 2012. It continued to do well on the following days. It has collected Rs 51.60 crores in six days. Its breakup for weekdays is Rs 6.02 cr on Mon, Rs 5.05 cr on Tue and Rs 4.55 cr on Wed.

Will Raaz 3 be the first 100 crore movie of Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatts? Trade analysts believe that this horror movie has all the chances of surpassing the mark. But it has a tough competition from Ranbir Kapoor's much-awaited Barfi, which is releasing this weekend. Will it beat Barfi to achieve this big figure?
