Emraan's Jannat 2 scores Rs 24.03 cr at Box Office

New Bollywood movie Jannat 2 has opened to a huge opening at the Box Office in India, while another new release Fatso had a dull response. Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta starrer has collected Rs 24.03 crore nett at the collection centres across the country in the first weekend.

Despite getting average reviews, Jannat 2 started with a bang at the Box Office on Friday. It registered 60 to 80% occupancy at the multiplexes, while the single screens were running houseful. But its business went down on Saturday. It managed to grow up its collection on Sunday again. The breakup of its earning is: Rs 8.52 crore on Friday, Rs 6.9 crore Saturday and Rs 8.61 crore on Sunday.

Among previous week's releases, Vicky Donor and Housefull 2 are still doing well at the collection centres across the country. Vicky Donor has gossed Rs 3.47 crore in the third weekend, while Housefull 2 managed to get nearly three crores. The business of Tezz, last week's release, has completely collapsed in the second weekend. However, new release Fatso collected a negligible figures at the Box Office.
