Late
filmmaker
Yash
Chopra's
last
directorial
venture
Jab
Tak
Hai
Jaan
(JTHJ)
is
leading
the
race
at
the
Box
Office
in
India.
Despite
facing
tough
competition
from
Son
Of
Sardar,
Shahrukh
Khan,
Katrina
Kaif
and
Anushka
Sharma
starrer
has
collected
Rs
49.22
crore
at
the
domestic
collection
centres
in
three
days.
Jab
Tak
Hai
Jaan,
which
was
released
on
2,500+
screens
on
November
13,
opened
to
positive
reviews
from
film
critics
and
overwhelming
response
at
the
Box
Office.
This
romantic
thriller
had
very
good
footfalls
in
multiplexes
across
the
country
when
compared
to
its
response
in
single
screens.
It
registered
an
average
of
90%
to
100%
occupancy
on
its
opening
day
in
theatres.
Jab
Tak
Hai
Jaan
collected
Rs
15.23
crores
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
on
the
first
day
and
it
was
very
less
when
compared
to
the
collection
of
Shahrukh
Khan's
previous
movie
Ra.One.
But
the
business
of
the
movie
picked
on
Wednesday
with
its
second
day
collection
reaching
Rs
19.54
crore.
It
showed
dip
in
its
business
on
Thursday
and
that
was
due
to
the
busy
working
day
for
colleges
and
offices.
However,
Jab
Tak
Hai
Jaan
has
added
approximately
Rs
14.45
crores
to
its
three
day
total
Rs
49.22
crores
nett.
With
this,
it
has
failed
to
beat
the
three
day
collection
of
Ra.One,
which
had
collected
Rs
57
crores
nett.
It
had
all
the
potentials
to
beat
this
record.
But
the
footfalls
got
divided
with
Ajay
Devgn's
Son
Of
Sardar.
