Jab Tak Hai Jaan beats Ek Tha Tiger collection overseas!

Shahrukh Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan might have failed to beat Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger's first day Box Office collection in India, but, the Yash Chopra flick did wonders in the overseas. JTHJ managed to beat ETT's opening day business record in the foreign lands.

According to the reports by Taran Adarsh, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has created history in New Zealand by being the first hindi film to open at No 1 position, overtaking the business of Hollywood biggies on *that particular day*. On the other hand, the film has smashed Ek Tha Tiger's UK Box Office record of Day 1. While ETT had collected an amount of Rs 84.75 lakhs (£96,663) in UK (Day 1), JTHJ has fetched £ 1,58,342 in first day.

ETT fetched Rs 42.56 lakhs (A$72,617) at the Australia Box Office, while JTHJ scored A$ 77,334 on the same day. However, Ek Tha Tiger, which was released in 3,300 screens in India, has collected Rs 32.92 crores at the domestic Box Office on its opening day.

Now that the competition finally starts between the two biggest rivals of Bollywood (SRK and Salman), we wonder if Jab Tak Hai Jaan would be able to beat ETT's 100 crore mark in five days or not.
