Khiladi 786 collection affected by Talaash at Box Office

Hindi movie Khiladi 786 is getting tough competition from previous week release Talaash at the Indian Box Office on the weekdays. The Akshay Kumar and Asin starrer is doing good collection in single screens, while Aamir Khan's psychological thriller has good occupancy in multiplexes across the country.

Khiladi 786, which had collected Rs 34.30 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in its opening weekend, had a steep fall of 50% in its business on Monday. And the masala entertainer continued to drop at the desi collection centres on the following days. Its weekdays' breakup is Rs 5.4 cr on Mon, Rs 4.4 cr on Tue and Rs 4.05 on Wed.

The movie Khiladi 786 has raked in a total of Rs 48.15 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in six days and it has one more day to conclude the first week. As reported earlier, the Akshay Kumar and Asin starrer would surely cross Rs 50 crore mark in the domestic market in the opening week.

Whereas Talaash, which had collected Rs 67.9 crores at the desi Box Office in the first week, witnessed 70% drop in its collection in the second week. But the movie cashed in on the multiplexes audience, who gave a dislike for Khiladi 786 and collected Rs 11.20 crore nett in the second weekend.

Talaash has collected Rs 4.05 crores at the domestic Box Office on the weekdays, taking its 13 day total to Rs 83.15 crores nett. Its weekdays' breakup is Rs 1.5 cr on Mon, Rs 1.35 cr on Tue and Rs 1.2 cr on Wed. Since there are no big new releases on this Friday, the movie has a good chance to cross Rs 100 crore mark in India in the third weekend.
