Khiladi 786 bends low before Talaash at overseas Box Office

Akshay Kumar's Khiladi 786, which was expected to slow down the collection of Aamir Khan's Talaash, has turned out to be a big disappointment at the overseas Box Office. The film has landed in the second place at the international business chart in the first weekend, while Talaash once again topped the chart in the second weekend. Khiladi 786 has bent low before Talaash in the opening weekend.

Khiladi 786 has done very poor business at the USA Box Office in the first weekend, when compared to the second weekend collection of Talaash, which has once again topped the chart. Talaash has collected $4,49,195 from 161 screens, taking its 11-day total to Rs 13.05 crores ($23,97,909). Whereas Khiladi 786 landed in the second spot with its first weekend collection Rs 1.25 crores ($2,28,967) from 114 screens in the country.

Talaash has overtaken Khiladi 786 at the UK Box Office too. The Aamir-Kareena-Rani starrer has topped the business chart by collecting £1,38,158 from 63 screens in the country in its second weekend. Its total collection stands at Rs 6.22 crores (£7,13,552). Khiladi 786 has landed in the second place with its opening weekend collection Rs 90.73 lakhs (£1,04,156) from 79 screens.

Talaash has pushed down Khiladi 786 at the Australia Box Office too. The suspense thriller has collected A$ 1,11,300 from 23 screens, taking its 11-day total Rs 3.21 crores (A$ 5,64,459). Whereas
the Akshay Kumar and Asin starrer has collected Rs. 38.45 lakhs (A$ 67,523) from 24 screens in the country in its opening weekend.

Khiladi 786 has fallen in the second place, while Talaash led the race at the New Zealand Box Office. Talaash has collected NZ$38,035 from 13 screens in its second weekend, taking its total to Rs 85.16 lakhs (NZ$1,88,013). Whereas Khiladi 786 has raked in Rs 9.62 lakhs (NZ$21,240) from 6 screens in the first weekend.

Khiladi 786 did not have competition from Hindi at the Fiji Box Office, where it has done good collection in the first weekend. The film has collected Rs 10.74 lakhs (FJD34,969) from 2 screens, which is far better than its six screens' collection at the New Zealand Box Office.

However, Khiladi 786 has collected Rs 2.74 crores ($504,715) at the international Box Office in the first weekend. It has become one more average grosser of Akshay Kumar in foreign market. Whereas Talaash has collected Rs 4.45 crores ($819,765) in the second weekend taking its overseas total close to Rs 35 crores nett. It has become blockbuster success in the international market.
