Khiladi 786, Talaash weekend collection at Box Office

Previous week's releases like Khiladi 786 and Talaash have continued to keep the bells ringing at the Indian Box Office this weekend too, beating new releases like Cigarette Ki Tarah, Myoho and The Last Act. Khiladi 786 has done good collection at single screens, while Talaash did well at multiplexes across the country.

Last week's release Khiladi 786 starring Akshay Kumar and Asin in leads, had collected Rs 52.55 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in its first week. The movie continued its joyride at the collection centres in the second weekend. It collected Rs 10.75 crores at the desi business centres, taking its 10-day total to Rs 63.25 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 2.63 cr on Fri, Rs 3.37 cr on Sat and Rs 4.75 cr on Sun.

Meanwhile, two-weeks' old movie Talaash starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in leads, had raked in Rs 84.82 crores nett at the domestic Box Office. The movie was still having a good time at the ticket windows in the third weekend. It has added Rs 5.04 crores to its 17-day total Rs 89.86 crores nett. With this, it has once again failed to cross Rs 100 crore mark in the country. Its breakup is Rs 1.05 cr on Fri, Rs 1.76 cr on Sat and Rs 2.23 cr on Sun.

However, new release Cigarette Ki Tarah, which had created a lot of curiosity among viewers, has received very poor opening. The movie has got an average response at single screens, while major multiplexes stayed away from the film. Myoho and The Last Act, which arrived unannounced, also had a poor opening as they had no promotion and post-release buzz. All the three have collected negligible numbers at the desi Box Office.
