Akshay
Kumar
and
Paresh
Rawal
starrer
OMG
Oh
My
God!
has
opened
to
a
poor
response
at
the
Box
Office
in
India.
Although
the
movie
has
better
collection
than
its
rival
Kamaal
Dhamaal
Malamaal
(KDM),
it
is
not
up
to
the
expected
mark.
With
this,
the
two
new
releases
are
giving
a
way
to
old
releases
like
Heroine
and
Barfi
to
rock
again
at
the
collection
centres
this
week
too.
Akshay
Kumar
had
faced
a
severe
set
back
in
his
career
with
his
recent
movie
Joker
bombing
at
the
Box
Office.
Hence,
the
Bollywood
actor
has
done
the
aggressive
promotion
for
OMG
Oh
My
God!,
which
had
wide
release
in
the
country.
And
it
was
expected
to
start
with
a
bang
at
the
collection
centres
on
its
opening
day.
But
OMG
Oh
My
God!
has
fallen
back
at
the
ticket
windows
across
the
country.
Akshay
Kumar-Paresh
Rawal
starrer
movie
has
registered
an
average
of
30%
to
40%
occupancy
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes
across
the
country
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows
on
the
first
day.
It
is
likely
to
see
big
jump
in
evening
shows.
Whereas,
another
new
release
Kamaal
Dhamaal
Malamaal
has
received
even
worse
response
than
OMG
Oh
My
God!
The
Malamaal
Weekly
sequel
has
been
doing
well
in
Maharashtra
and
it's
Nana
Patekar
effect.
But
the
movie
has
done
pretty
poor
business
at
the
mass
belts
of
North
India.
Only
a
magic
can
recover
its
production
cost.
