Abhishek
Bachchan
starrer
movie
Players,
which
opened
to
a
colossal
disappointment
at
the
Box
Office
in
India,
has
earned
Rs
21.75
crores
net
at
the
collection
centres
in
the
first
week.
With
this,
the
multi-starrer
film
has
posed
a
threat
of
suffering
heavy
losses
to
the
producer.
The
big
budget
movie
Players,
which
was
expected
to
debut
with
a
huge
collection
at
the
Box
Office,
registered
20%
to
30%
occupancy
on
the
opening
day.
The
film
earned
Rs
15
crores
net
in
the
first
weekend.
Its
business
fell
sharply
on
weekdays
and
it
added
another
Rs
6.75
crores
net
to
its
total
gross
Rs
21.75
crores
net.
However,
Players,
which
is
produced
by
Viacom18
Motion
Pictures
and
Burmawala
Bros,
had
created
lot
of
curiosity
among
the
movie
buffs
before
its
release.
But
the
film
has
been
rejected
outright.
Since
there
are
no
big
releases
this
week,
it
should
be
seen
whether
the
movie
will
recover
its
loss
at
the
Box
Office
or
not.
