Ranbir's Barfi set to cross Rs 150 crore mark at Box Office

Ranbir Kapoor's recent release Barfi, which has been nominated for Indian Oscar entry, is almost four weeks old in theatres. Although several big Hindi movies have hit the screens in the past three weeks, the Anurag Basu directed movie is still rocking at the Box Office and landed in the third spot in the collection chart in India and international market.

Barfi has done a wonderful collection at the domestic Box Office and joined the league of Rs 100 crore movies in just three weeks. The Ranbir-Priyanka-Ileana starrer has collected Rs 112.15 crores nett as of the fourth weekend. It is still giving a tough competition to new releases like English Vinglish, Kismet Paisa Love Dilli and OMG Oh My God.

The romantic comedy has also been doing well in the international market. Barfi has collected Rs. 14.17 crores ($ 26,92,161) in USA, Rs. 5.70 crores (£ 6,83,415) in UK, Rs. 4.1 crores in UAE, Rs. 2.04 crores (A$ 3,87,686) in Australia, Rs. 27.34 lakhs (NZ$ 64,452) in New Zealand and Rs 2 lakhs in Fiji.

However, Barfi has raked in Rs 138.46 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in 24 days. The film has continued to keep the bells ringing at the collection centres in India and overseas. Trade analysts feel that the movie would surpass Rs 150 crore mark in global Box Office before it completes one month in theatres.
