Akshay
Kumar's
Rowdy
Rathore
has
continued
its
successful
run
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend
too.
The
Prabhu
Deva
directed
action
flick
has
once
again
topped
the
Box
Office
chart
by
beating
Emraan
Hashmi
and
Abhay
Deol
starrer
movie
Shanghaiat
the
collection
centres
across
the
globe.
It
has
also
broken
the
second
week
collection
record
of
Agneepath.
Trade
analyst
were
thinking
that
the
business
of
Rowdy
Rathore
will
be
affected
by
Shanghai.
But
it
was
vice
versa.
It
seemed
to
be
unstoppable
at
the
Box
Office
as
it
remained
the
first
choice
of
filmgoers.
It
raked
in
Rs
22
crores
nett
in
the
second
weekend.
It
fared
well
in
the
weekdays
too
and
collected
another
Rs
13
crores
nett.
Rowdy
Rathore,
which
had
grossed
Rs
79.52
crores
nett
in
week
one,
had
failed
to
break
the
first
week
collection
record
of
Agneepath,
which
had
collected
Rs
85.88
crores
in
the
eight-days
extended
week.
Agneepath
had
added
Rs
23.12
crores
to
its
two-week
total
to
Rs
109
crore.
Whereas,
Rowdy
Rathore
has
broken
its
second
week
record
by
adding
Rs
35
crores
nett
to
its
total
collection
Rs
114.5
crores
nett.
However,
despite
getting
flowery
reviews
from
critics,
Shanghai
failed
to
get
a
big
opening
at
the
Box
Office.
Although
the
film
witnessed
some
growth
at
hi-end
multiplexes
of
metros,
its
collection
could
not
go
beyond
Rs
12
crores
nett
in
the
first
weekend.
But
the
movie
slid
downwards
in
the
weekdays.
It
added
Rs
5.5
crores
to
its
first
week's
total
Shanghai.
