Bollywood
movie
Dabangg
2
starring
Salman
Khan
and
Sonakshi
Sinha
in
leads,
has
opened
to
an
earth-shattering
response
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
Although
its
first
day
figures
are
not
as
big
as
Salman's
previous
release
Ek
Tha
Tiger,
the
Arbaaz
Khan
directed
film
has
turned
out
to
be
the
biggest
opener
for
non-holiday,
beating
the
previous
opening
day
record
of
Akshay
Kumar's
Rowdy
Rathore.
Dabangg
2,
which
is
a
sequel
to
Salman
Khan's
blockbuster
movie
Dabangg,
has
a
huge
hype
and
promotion
surrounding
it.
And
Salmania,
which
is
at
its
peak
once
again
in
2012
after
Ek
Tha
Tiger
release,
has
soared
up
the
viewers'
craze
for
the
film
to
sky
high.
The
movie
has
registered
a
huge
amount
of
advance
ticket
booking
and
the
tickets
have
been
already
sold
out
for
first
three
days
in
many
single
screens
and
multiplexes.
Amidst
this
hype,
Dabangg
2,
which
released
in
3,500
screens
in
the
country,
had
an
overwhelming
start
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
on
Friday.
The
romantic-action
movie
registered
100%
occupancy
at
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes
across
the
country
on
the
first
day.
