Salman's Ek Tha Tiger collection affected by Raaz 3 at Box Office

Salman Khan's recent release Ek Tha Tiger, which had collected Rs 194.84 crores in three weeks, has suffered a severe setback at the Box Office in the fourth weekend. Its collection has been affected by new release Raaz 3, which has completely sent down its business, shattering its dream to cross Rs 200 crore mark at the Indian collection centres in the fourth weekend.

Due to the wide release of the horror film Raaz 3, Ek Tha Tiger lost a large amount of screens at the domestic market. Secondly, the collection of Salman-Katrina starrer was affected by the good opening of Emraan-Bipasha starrer movie. The romantic action flick just managed to add Rs 2.5 crores nett to its 23 day total Rs 197.14 crores nett. The breakup of its fourth weekend collection is Rs 47 lakhs on Fri, Rs 77 lakhs on Sat and Rs 1.12 cr on Sun.

Ek Tha Tiger was expected to surpass Rs 200 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in the fourth weekend. But now, its dream seems to be very remote as its collection has been slowed down considerably. The movie needs nearly Rs 3 crores to cross this mark and it might collect another Rs 1.5 crore in the weekdays.

However, Ranbir Kapoor's much-awaited movie Barfi is releasing in the coming weekend and it will surely snatch some screens from the movie Ek Tha Tiger, which will further slide down in the fifth weekend.
