    Salman's Ek Tha Tiger set to beat Aamir's 3 Idiots lifetime record

    Bollywood movie Ek Tha Tiger, which was released on August 15, has still been keeping the bells ringing at the Box Office in India. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer film has raked in Rs 195.03 crores nett at the collection centres in three weeks. Now, it is all set to surpass Rs 200 crore mark and beat the lifetime collection record of Aamir Khan's blockbuster flick 3 Idiots.

    Due to the negative review of the movie Joker, Ek Tha Tiger continued to rock the viewers and collected Rs 6.51 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the third weekend taking its 19 day total to Rs 191.34 crores nett. The breakup of its third weekend business is Rs 1.24 cr on Fri, Rs 2.11 cr on Sat and Rs 3.16 cr on Sun.

    As usual, the business of Ek Tha Tiger fell down by more than 50% on weekdays. But the movie witnessed a jump in its business on Wednesday and that is due to Teachers' day holiday. It added Rs 3.69 crore to its three weeks total collection Rs 195.03 crores nett at the desi Box Office. The breakup of its weekdays collection is Rs 88 lakhs on Mon, Rs 87 lakhs on Tue, Rs 1.04 cr on Wed, Rs 90 cr on Thu.

    However, Raaz 3, which has released in theatres today, is the new competitor for Ek Tha Tiger. But trade experts say that Emraan-Bipasha starrer may not affect the business of the latter, as it belongs to horror genre. They say that Salman-Katrina starrer would cross Rs 200 crore mark this weekend and break the lifetime collection record of Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots, which has raked in Rs 202 crore nett at the Indian Box Office.
